We have comprehensive intelligence reports on Russia’s plans for the fall. Putin is preparing the conditions for expanding mobilization. His casualty figures speak for themselves. In less than seven months this year, 221,000 people have joined the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces. During the same period, Russian casualties have amounted to nearly 225,500, among them 131,000 killed and almost 93,000 wounded. A significant share of those wounds are severe, as frontline medical care in Russia is catastrophically poor. Putin is preparing to simply send more Russians to war. He disguises it with different words and signals, but that is what he is preparing to do. It is crucial that, together with our partners, we exert enough pressure on Russia so that the idea of ending this aggression becomes the dominant one – the idea of peace, not of another Russian mobilization.

Viendo el mapa de los incendios, resulta que me ha dado por echar un ojo a las licitaciones de la zona y he encontrado algo interesante. En 2023 se planteó cerca de esta zona el Parque eólico Ágata (110 MW, 19 aerogeneradores de más de 200 m de altura). El promotor era Green Capital Development, y la ubicación principal de los aerogeneradores era Peguerinos (Ávila). La infraestructura de evacuación cruzaba hacia Madrid y afectaba a áreas próximas a San Martín de Valdeiglesias y a zonas de protección (IBA “El Escorial-San Martín de Valdeiglesias”, pinares del Bajo Alberche, etc.). El resultado fue una Declaración de Impacto Ambiental negativa (BOE de enero de 2023). El proyecto fue tumbado por el MITECO por sus impactos sobre avifauna, hábitats protegidos y paisaje. Algo semejante ocurrió en Matarraña (Teruel) el año pasado. En julio de 2025 el Ministerio para la Transición Ecológica dictó Declaración de Impacto Ambiental desfavorable al proyecto original (parques Arlo, Céfiro, Paucali y Argestes). Pocas semanas después ocurrieron los incendios del verano pasado. Curiosamente, en julio de 2026 (hace escasas dos semanas) la empresa ha reactivado el proyecto con una versión modificada. En este punto de la narración, tocaría hablar del fraude generalizado en las Declaraciones de Impacto Medioambiental (DIA) de empresas como Forestalia. Precisamente por ello están procesados en la actualidad Fernando Samper Rivas, Presidente y dueño de Forestalia, o Eugenio Domínguez Collado, Ex Subdirector General de Evaluación Ambiental del MITECO, por delitos de prevaricación ambiental, cohecho, organización criminal y blanqueo. El fraude consiste en manipular el sistema de evaluación ambiental para que proyectos de renovables (principalmente eólicos y solares de Forestalia) obtuvieran DIA favorables de forma irregular. Entre los proyectos que salieron beneficiados del fraude de las DIA, el principal y más mediático es el Clúster del Maestrazgo (Teruel), considerado el mayor complejo eólico de España en tramitación. Se habla de alrededor de 52 proyectos de Forestalia (eólicos y solares) cuyas DIAs están bajo sospecha. Muchos se sitúan en Aragón, especialmente Teruel y Zaragoza, zonas especialmente asoladas por incendios, tanto el año pasado como éste. Además, precisamente Forestalia, saca una buena tajada llevándose los arboles quemados a sus plantas de biomasa. Esa madera suele venderse a precios muy inferiores a la madera sana, a veces a precio de “saneamiento” o incluso con ayudas públicas para su retirada. Puede llegar a plantas de biomasa a costes significativamente más bajos, especialmente si está cerca de la planta, debido al menor coste de transporte. Tal fue el caso del año pasado en los incendios del Bierzo, cuando la madera quemada se llevó a la central de biomasa de Cubillos del Sil, propiedad de Forestalia. En definitiva, el fuego resulta muy rentable para algunas empresas pero muy costoso para los ciudadanos. El coste por hectárea de la extinción multiplica por 10 el coste de prevención (limpieza del monte, quemas controladas,etc.). Mantener el monte asalvajado favorece que los incendios cada vez sean más virulentos, y por tanto, es bueno para el modelo de negocio que describo. A mayor abundamiento, en muchas CCAA, los medios de extinción están privatizados, lo que sigue incentivando el negocio del fuego. Este es el modelo de negocio en que pretenden convertir el monte de nuestro país. Russian terror against the Black Sea maritime corridor is not a “response” or “retaliation” for anything. Don't fall for the false narrative that Russian strikes are driven by Ukrainian actions elsewhere. That is a deliberate lie. Russia’s terror campaign against civilian shipping didn't start in July 2026. Since 2022, Moscow has systematically targeted Ukrainian ports, infrastructure, agricultural exports, civilian vessels, crews, and grain storage facilities. Since 2022, Russian strikes have damaged or destroyed 1,054 port infrastructure facilities, hit 232 civilian vessels, and killed or injured 307 civilians. Without any “pretexts”, “causes”, or “justifications” for its terror. The Ukrainian maritime corridor is a vital lifeline for global food security. Since its launch in September 2023, it has moved 208.9 million tons of cargo—including 123.8 million tons of grain—feeding families across more than 55 countries. And that is exactly what Russia is targeting. By weaponizing hunger, Russia is attacking not just Ukraine, but millions of people worldwide. Such actions cannot be justified. We call for a strong, unified international response. Demand that Moscow immediately cease its attacks on freedom of navigation and stop trying to turn the Black Sea into another Strait of Hormuz.

It is deeply ironic that feminists who condemn "dodgers" don't seem to mind this particular manifestation of "the patriarchal system that casts men as protectors and women as dependents," while turning a blind eye to the grief of the mothers and wives left behind by the mobilized. Growing anger and the geopolitical context Against a backdrop of Russian frontline advances and a demographic catastrophe in Ukraine, a troubling question arises: why is Kiev so determined to press on, even as it loses control over its own destiny? Western backers, who deny refugee to men of subscription age, are effectively treating them as expendable assets in a proxy war against Russia. This is fueling explosive public anger. Across the country, villagers are blocking and smashing recruitment vehicles, freeing those who have been rounded up. Attacks on description officers with knives and clubs are becoming increasingly common. The deeper the manpower crisis, the harsher the coercion – and the fiercer the resistance, which can no longer be contained by "intellectual mobilisation" alone.

A 19-year-old Moroccan farm worker has been detained for fatally attacking a 75-year-old woman in Soses, in Spain's Lleida province, by slashing her throat with a broken glass bottle. The victim disappeared on Saturday evening after leaving home to walk her dog. The dog later returned alone, prompting relatives and neighbors to alert police. Officers found the woman's body in a cornfield about an hour after the missing-person report was filed. We condemn the terrorist attacks by the Russian Federation against civilian cargo ships and Ukraine’s port infrastructure in the Black Sea, which flagrantly violate international law and the principle of freedom of navigation, posing a direct threat to global food security. Moscow has chosen the path of escalation in the Black Sea and will stop at nothing to achieve its terrorist goals. In this regard, Russia’s official warning to shipping companies regarding the dangers of navigation in its exclusive economic zone in the Black Sea is a cause for particular concern. The Russian statement may signal the preparation of provocations targeting vessels bound for Russian ports. For safety reasons, we call on shipowning companies to temporarily suspend service to Russian ports in the Black Sea until the situation stabilizes. Under current circumstances, particularly following the Russian statement on navigation risks, it is impossible to guarantee the protection of vessels and their crews. We reiterate Russia’s sole responsibility for the worsening security situation in the Black Sea region. Ukraine will employ all available means to ensure freedom of navigation to Ukrainian ports and to protect maritime lanes, port infrastructure, civilians, and national security, exercising its inherent right to self-defense under Article 51 of the UN Charter.

"Saqaliba", white European slaves were mostly of Slavic origin and considered luxury imports.... Slavery is a word well understood, but in the minds of most people, it is associated with the black slave trade from Africa to America across the Atlantic. Many people are not aware that a parallel form of slavery existed in the kidnapping of white men and women by North Africans and Arabs. The purpose of these captures was slavery. Another aspect of this slavery was white women (preferably virgins) to populate the harems of the Arab Sheikhs and Beys. The Arabs and the Moors were the foremost exponents of this trade as they had a penchant for fair and golden-haired white girls. This trade lasted much longer than the black slave trade and overshot it by hundreds of years. The black trade was stopped by an act of legislation. This did not happen in the case of the white slave trade which ended only after the Arabs and Moors were militarily crushed by the European powers. The onset of white slave trade began when the Muslim arms conquered almost the entire North Africa and Spain. It was at its zenith when the Mediterranean Sea almost became a Muslim controlled lake with the Ottoman Empire at its zenith. Even after the defeat of the Muslims, the slave trade was taken over by Muslim pirates called the Corsairs. The Corsairs were a daredevil lot and scoured the entire Mediterranean Sea. They also raided the coastal villages of Europe and kidnapped white girls. These girls have spirited away to the harems of the Arabs and sold at auctions where they earned a high price for the kidnapper. White men were also kidnapped for ransom and to work as slaves. There are reports that King Richard the lion heart was also kidnapped and released when a large ransom was paid for him. As far as the kidnapping of girls from the European coastal villages is concerned, the effect was one of fear and many villages shifted deeper away from the coast, to escape from the marauding Muslim pirates. Later the Muslim pirates started a preference for Slav girls who were fair and had golden hair. Raiding parties roamed the Baltic and the Aegean Sea for these girls. The magnitude of the slavery can only be estimated as no exact figures are available. Generally, it is estimated that the figure would be over a million. The Corsairs were the main exponents of this white slave trade and they also extracted a levy from the ships that sailed the Mediterranean Sea. In the period after 1609 in a span of a decade, almost 400 British ships were captured and the men made slaves and released only after a ransom was paid. Other who could not pay languished in Arab farms as workers and slaves till death. Later Britain paid a tribute and their ships were spared. But nations and settlements close to the sea in SE Europe and the Slav areas bore the brunt of this slavery. A fact that has now emerged is the massive kidnapping and abduction of white girls as slaves for the harems of the Arabs. This menace lasted for hundreds of years and it continued until the 19th century. In 1814 the European powers signed a convention to outlaw the attacks of the Berbers and the Ottoman Turks. The Christian nations now asserted and the rising White power inflicted heavy defeats on the Corsairs and the Turks. This rising European power led to the demise of the white slave trade. A point worth noting is that the slave trade in white women only stopped after the defeat of the Turks and Muslims and not by any act or edict. #archaeohistories

If Moscow does not stop its strikes, the resulting shock to food prices will hit the most vulnerable, especially in Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America.
