I’m pleased to report that Masters of the Universe is a wonderful movie. And best of all is ISN’T Woke! They’ve race swapped Man at Arms but who cares? It works just fine and Idris Elba does a fine job. Skeletor obviously steals the show. The characters look just like the toys and it’s stayed faithful to the 1980s cartoon source material. Thankfully it’s nothing like the Netflix woke abomination. So if you grew up in that era and watched the cartoon you’ll be pleasantly pleased. 10/10

Take a look at this movie theater "order receipt". Is it any wonder why less folks are going to the movies? And what's with those prices - is this really a good value for money? And what are a convenience fee and service fee exactly? Have too many business models just priced themselves into the absurd? Would you pay 40 bucks for snacks when you could go to one of the dollar stores and pick up the same items for less than 10?

This mom makes her eleven year old son walk a mile around the neighborhood before he can have any screen time. She said she does this to regulate his mood and energy, to build discipline to let him know fun comes after the effort, not the other way around, and, it reduces arguments - you work first and then play later, the expectations are set. Many people focused on his walking around the neighborhood by himself but she says she lives in a neighborhood where she feels very comfortable. A lot of people applauded her for making her son get outside, that it was not only healthy for his body but for his mind as well. She said this is not a punishment. I think kids in this day and age need to be forced to get outside. Too many of us allow them to stare at screens all day long. I applaud her for her routine with her son. What do you think of her morning routine for her eleven year old son?
