I was scheduled to go view an apartment today. I realized I wasn’t going to be able to make the showing, so I decided to call the leasing office to tell them I can’t come in. As soon as I began calling, I was already annoyed because I knew I’d have to go through 3 different operators to then talk to a real human to cancel my tour. Within 5 seconds of me calling, I talked to an AI. Literally less than 2 minutes later, I canceled the tour and it was a FLAWLESS experience communicating with the AI. There was absolutely ZERO need to deal with a human. This is the first time I’ve experienced this and I cannot explain how enjoyable the process was vs what I am usually used to. When it comes to this usecase for AI, it is very, very real and I didn’t expect to experience it today at a leasing office. The world is changing and margins WILL increase with this type of productivity….
