Rory could not wait for his school work experience week so came in during the holidays for a few days and ended up designing and making a fire set - mostly by himself. #ironworkthursday #fireset Great job for a first attempt at blacksmithing

@Timothy_Garland Agree about the apprentice with no skills scenario - we could not do that either. This was mostly done as a favour but the lad was highly practically adept, listened and was intelligent so will go far in whatever he chooses to do

@MsPondering This wasn’t an official school work placement . That will be taking place in September. However with the health and safety requirements that that brings he will not be able to do much then.
