@flowsdoc Coach a 7U team my son plays on….stay with a local team that’s low maintenance. We practice once a week, and will play 6 tournaments from second week of April through June. These kids don’t need games every weekend….let them have fun but make it so it’s not a job

Being a youth baseball parent is hard. My 7-year-old loves the game—wants to train all the time. Talked to a dad whose son just went through the travel ball gauntlet… all the names, programs, connections. Felt the FOMO… Then it hit me—we don’t need to chase everything. We just need to enjoy the game and let them grow. Any advice?

This is NOT basketball. Indiana High School Basketball needs a shot clock in the worst way. Stuff like this doesn’t prepare guys for the next level. Can’t understand how people continue to defend stuff like this. It’s bad for the game.

When a “how on EARTH could you possibly miss that” call happens - 9/10 times its positioning. That’s exactly what happens here You just have 0 chance to get this foul when you’re behind the shot and screened from point of contact. You’re guessing, from this angle. Guessed wrong
