Abbiamo ricevuto ieri questo messaggio privato. Paziente oncologica bolognese, anonima per tutelarsi. La sua testimonianza: "Mi chiamo Laura, ho 56 anni, vivo a Bologna da sempre, nel quartiere Reno, in un appartamento popolare che ormai fatico a pagare anche con la pensione minima e l'invalidità civile. Da tre anni combatto un tumore al seno metastatico. Non è facile, ma resisto: terapie ormonali continue, controlli al Sant'Orsola, sperando di vedere crescere i miei due nipotini piccoli (uno di 4 anni, l'altro di 2). Il farmaco che mi tiene stabile, che mi permette di alzarmi ogni giorno senza crollare del tutto, è il Letrozolo Teva da 2,5 mg. È il generico che il mio oncologo ha prescritto perché per me funziona bene: blocca gli estrogeni che alimentano il tumore, e il mio corpo lo tollera meglio rispetto ad altri equivalenti – meno dolori articolari lancinanti, meno vampate che mi svegliano di notte, meno stanchezza che mi inchioda sul divano. Lo prendo tutti i giorni, una compressa, con la ricetta dal medico. Lo ritiro in farmacia, con l'esenzione per malattia oncologica, perché senza SSN non potrei permettermelo. Da mesi leggo sui giornali e sui social di questa campagna per boicottare Teva perché è israeliana. Capisco il dolore per Gaza, mi spezza il cuore anch'io. Ma ora la cosa sta arrivando nelle farmacie comunali e nelle ASL dell'Emilia-Romagna: petizioni a Bologna, stop in altri Comuni come Jesi o Sesto Fiorentino, pressioni per non ordinare più Teva, discussioni in Regione. Ho paura. Paura vera. Se il Comune o l'Ausl decidono di non fornire più Letrozolo Teva per 'solidarietà', mi cambiano il farmaco? Mi danno un altro generico di un'altra ditta che magari non va bene per me? Che mi fa stare peggio, con dolori che non riesco a sopportare, o che non controlla la malattia allo stesso modo e le metastasi avanzano? Non ho soldi per pagarlo privato (costa poco come generico, ma per me è tanto). Dipendo dal Servizio Sanitario. Dipendo da quella scatola che arriva in farmacia grazie alle forniture pubbliche. Non faccio politica, non giudico chi protesta. Imploro solo: pensate a noi malati cronici. La salute non può essere sacrificata su un altare di solidarietà, per quanto sentita. Se conoscete qualcuno in Comune, in Regione, in Ausl Bologna, o volete solo condividere per far arrivare la mia voce... grazie infinite. Ho ancora voglia di vivere. Ho paura di non farcela se mi tolgono questa pillola che mi tiene in piedi, e di non vedere i miei nipotini diventare grandi. Un abbraccio a chi combatte come me, e a chi sogna un mondo migliore.
