Although not a formal study. We were doing serial CCTA at PLC for more than a decade before it was popular. Incremental increases in statin doses did not slow down progression but as soon as I realized we needed combination Rx with Ezetimibe (thank you @Drlipid ) the plaques began healing. Start with Rosuvastatin and add Ezetimibe as your next step
