@nimlot26 I love character designs like this, simple but really well put together.

So the guys had a 24h challenge to make an imp but I could not join at that point hence I've worked on this and treated it as a 24h project. The body is done now after 16h and I still have 8 hours left to finish his loincloth, the weapon and shoulder pad. Almost there. I will probably stream later working on this.

Had an idea last night to test out the Atlas Splitter node and make this paint stroke copper material. It's a similar method that I used to do back at Riot for some of our R&D but a lot simpler. Really like the way it came out for a quick hour or so test.

@Grumpymonkeh I love doing 2D paint for displacement. I was helping out w/ a Spider Gwen statue at Sideshow and we needed a shoe sole design asap. Normally that would be a sketch and then left to the sculptor to interpret. But for speed I did a few tones and some blurs to bevel = easy disp map

Tried a displacement method for Colossus’s body lines. Instead of sculpting them I just painted a map in substance Painter then loaded into zbrush as a displacement map. Came out ok!
