Because a once-prosperous Cuba has been living in captivity and severe poverty for nearly 70 years. The Cuban people deserve a chance to try to build a life in a free, prosperous Cuba. It may take military force to rid Cuba of its throwback Communist captors to give them that opportunity. It would be wonderful if Cuba, one day, chooses to formally join the United States.

Is anyone even gonna ask the obvious question: why? Why has it become normal for America to go attacking and destroying and seizing other countries and taking their assets, without any justification?
