@MHFZZEnjoyer No it's because Nata's empathy for Arkveld was never earned. It had the potential to be a good story. We saw that they can write sympathetic monsters with Primordial and if they made Arkveld a protector gone rogue it would have had an emotional punch when you have to kill it.
