45 years ago. I remember it rained in Rochester, NY and we picked up pizza (Pudgie’s) for dinner. I’ll never forget the unsafe feeling I had. As a kid, the shooting of the President definitely shook me. Ironically, my oldest works at that hotel now🙃

Biggest question mark for DePaul right now and portal has to be layden blocker.. he was very shaky all year and shot didn’t develop as well as we needed it. I wonder what the conversations are with him. Is he the guy to take us to our first tournament in 20 years or so? TBD…

Both left-handed pitchers during the same era. CC Sabathia was a 1st ballot HOFer. Mark Buehrle received 20% of the vote on the 2026 HOF ballot in his 6th year of eligibility. Sabathia had the better career, but not by much. Does Buehrle deserve a plaque in Cooperstown?

@PaintTouches With revenue sharing coming next season + NIL, I don’t understand how any Big East schools will have funding issues. No excuse for the combined not to be north of $10m for all BE schools. No football is a massive advantage

Holtmann, Willard and Hodgson are tremendous improvements from their predecessors. Still have some funding Qs from Hall, X and Butler, with a probable coaching transition for the Jays. But I think we see a massive league-wide jump from the Big East next season.

NEWS: DePaul forward Jeremy Lorenz is entering the transfer portal, he told @LeagueRDY. The 6-foot-8 forward began his career playing two seasons at Wofford before spending one at DePaul. He missed the majority of this season dealing with a hip injury. He averaged 8.0PPG, 3.8RPG and 1.7APG in 2024-25. Will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
