Haha, I had completely forgotten that Ukraine is also formally a participant in @NASAArtemis program! We signed an agreement with NASA to join back in 2020, and I even wrote an article about it at the time. The head of Ukraine’s space agency then was absolutely glowing with excitement in interviews. Of course, we probably haven’t been able to contribute much to the program because of the war… but it’s still nice. I’d like to hope that when peace comes, many of our engineers and designers, having gained immense experience during the war, will go on to do some amazing things in space, too.

A very good meeting with Romanian Minister @Oana_Toiu on the margins of EU ministerial in Kyiv. We discussed our bilateral agenda following the recent very productive Presidential visit of @ZelenskyyUa to Bucharest. We agreed to gear up our Ukrainian-Romanian Strategic Partnership with practical steps forward. Among the key joint priorities: first — strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities and joint military cooperation, as well as within the EU mechanisms, in particular SAFE; second — enhancing connectivity and energy infrastructure, for instance building new interconnectors between Ukraine and Romania and within the region; third — Ukraine’s EU accession together with Moldova as the essence of peace and security in Europe. We also discussed our cooperation in ensuring the rights of the Ukrainian community in Romania and the Romanian community in Ukraine. It’s great that starting this year, Ukraine will celebrate Romanian Language Day in accordance with the principle of reciprocity, since Romania celebrates Ukrainian Language Day at the national level as well. We compared our notes regarding future ministerial and high-level meetings in the bilateral and multilateral formats, particularly the Odesa Triangle and the Bucharest Nine.
