I am the kindest, most giving person to work with and usually (okay always) have undercut myself in compensation in every profession. Big fault of mine. But I am tired of healthcare professionals attempting to take advantage of patients with flattery. Times HAVE changed. Adapt.

For profit ‘pain blog’ asked for “my opinion in major mistakes in managing #chronicpain.” This constitutes WORK for me & clinic was “less interested in compensation as it is for readers.” Went on to imply that because I’m a ‘reader’ too asking for fair $=wrong. #DisabilityRights

Update: I did not leave a message for @MassageEnvy & told them I’d be unable to talk last night as I was at the hospital all evening. They called while I was there even though I DID NOT leave my name or number. Not cool. Today “no managers are in.” Isn’t that convenient?!

@chellech @MassageEnvy My bank is fully aware of the issue and ready take action. I am also alerting the Better Business Bureau, & potentially disability rights organizations because of how I believe they took advantage of my situation when I was hospitalized for 2+ months etc etc.

@HurtBlogger @MassageEnvy Have you called your bank/card issuer? Usually if you open a claim w them they can/will reverse charge until resolved.

Want to know how @MassageEnvy ‘donated to arthritis’?! By making my life hell! I’ve not set foot in a branch in more than 3 yrs, closed my account, they over-charged me while I was in hospital. They refunded $ which proves guilt. NOW they just charged me $770 out of NO WHERE.

@MassageEnvy As a disabled American on a fixed income, this is NOT money I have. My checking account is now grotesquely overdrawn. That was money that was meant to get me to the doctor today and buy my groceries.

Hello all 🤗 I’m doing better today. I’ve slept most of today. The ER looked up my OHSU rheum chart before entering my room, so they had my latest notes from my team 🙏🏼. They effectively treated my pain to stop the bad cycle I was in & talked to my rheumy to continue her plan🙏🏼
