California is shutting down in-state oil production faster than we can build alternatives to replace it, and it’s costing us. Replacing local oil and gas with more expensive imports results in an unstable energy supply and even higher gas prices for Californians.

Maybe the best gift we can give our kids this year is a time limit for their phones/devices and more quality time together as families.

To parents of ambitious students: Don't waste your money with essay consultants and the like. They improve your admissions odds only slightly. Invest more time in helping your kid understand who they are and want to become and use that as the basis for the college search. 14/

Time-lapse of me taking apart a man-made dam people keep building in my park. People build them to lounge in the pool the dam creates. They leave behind trash and destroy the landscape. This is not a water park. This is a natural area. I can destroy the dams in minutes.
