Nah... Heatwaves in Europe aren't new... the 2003 one killed ~70,000 people across the continent (France alone ~15,000), long before any recent US policy changes.
Similar deadly events go back centuries (1540, 1757, etc.). Warming has made extremes more likely sure, but pinning current ones solely on the US exiting/re-entering the Paris Agreement ignores reality in a whole new way.
