@ItsJayCook No those are stats from Topstep. Based on public records traders are more profitable with brokers than topstep. That’s why I i stated topstep is fentanyl

💡 Prop Firm Trading Tip:
Just because the minimum requirement
to take a payout is 5 days does NOT mean
you need to force yourself and take shitty
trades to be able to take a payout every 5 days.
Forcing bad trades to hit a self-imposed
deadline is how you lose 💀

@jamaal_trades You’re speaking to the stats for trading in general, if this is the case (I don’t have the exact stat) why not do it in a less capital intensive way?

The chances tell you it’s not possible based on the risk parameters..

@jamaal_trades @Topstep Yes. The goal is live funds eventually. This way people don’t have to learn the expensive way. Imagine the first time understanding risk management is losing $50k cash to the markets.. doesn’t have to happen that way anymore

Most people have an edge, but over leverage that leads to tilt. Hopefully this incentivizes smarter trading

@ItsJayCook @Topstep Bigger payout caps only matter if your process survives the rule set. Most traders find out the hard way that prop edge isn't the split, it's whether your best days come without forcing size.
