A consensus city vote will no longer be necessary nor a roadblock in NFL’s desire to have a permanent oceanfront San Diego stadium for future Pro Bowls & Super Bowls.

@NotSoAngryScout That’s one of the issues. Sorsby chased #NIL money through THREE Power 5 Programs and now he’s currently blacklisted & unemployed with not one degree yet from any of those schools. Sorsby clearly showed it was all about money for himself. Getting Endorsements?? Not anytime soon!!

His mental health and getting over the addiction should be way more important than the money. If his NIL is worth millions he should be able to use it on social media and with marketing deals to make money so he should be fine.

As it stands right now, Brendan Sorsby's lost more than $4 million he stood to make at Texas Tech this fall, and the chance to play his way into the Top 5 of next year's draft (which could be worth $50 million guaranteed). Legal costs are mounting too. We'll see what's next ...

@RapSheet If Sorsby is allowed to start playing professionally right now, it means he’s likely to not be drafted by #NFL at all next April. A start in #UFL & #CFL will be hopefully extremely humbling for him. Cancelling Supplemental Draft was NO Shocker!The League prefers ZERO Bad PR. #CFB

Brendan Sorsby cannot be signed as a free agent. He can play in other professional leagues, but not the NFL in 2026, based on this news.

The NFL has informed teams that it will NOT be holding a Supplemental Draft, meaning Texas Tech QB Brendan Sorsby will not be eligible to enter the NFL in 2026. The CBA allows the league to decide whether to hold a Supplemental Draft, and this year, it won’t.

@espn @AdamSchefter @PeteThamel I suggested continuing school because it’s time he considers Plan B post-football. Sorsby is aware his #NFL Opportunity is slim-to-none right now. Even with Private Workouts for Teams, his draft stock is not draftable. After 3 #CFB programs, Sorsby still needs work with QB Gurus.
