This sounds like a very bad joke.
Donald Trump has never been a man of peace. He is, first and foremost, a businessman willing to do whatever it takes to protect his interests and those of his allies. Iran is the most recent proof of that.
The #DRC is no different. It has become your new frontier in the economic war you are waging against China.
The peace you speak of comes at a price and that price is Congolese human and natural resources and your backing of a regime that fuels ongoing insecurity.

The argument for “treason” & the death sentence rested on a conspiracy theory that Kabila is “not Congolese” but “Rwandan”. The same old xenophobic theory that considers some Congolese as having a “doubtful nationality”, that Tshisekedi attributes to all the members of AFC/M23.
