It's weird how a significant proportion of British people despise people on benefits who are apparently sponging off the state, but love millionaires who live offshore to avoid contributing to the economy.

This is not a black problem, children do not generally behave like this in Ethiopia. However, it would be foolish to ignore the fact that the majority of youths in Clapham's disorder seem to be black. If we're too afraid to ask why this started, we'll never find out how it stops.

Locals in Dubai are traumatized. The majority of them are desperate to leave. Unfortunately, this is about to get worse. Now the UAE is asking America to invade Abu Musa Island. Thousands of families could be wiped out in Dubai because of this. Abu Musa is very close to the Strait of Hormuz. The UAE wants Abu Musa. Because they want to control energy. So they have agreed to send their troops to help America. This means Iran's attacks are about to intensify. And their target has always been Dubai. Dubai's economy is already crashing. Tourists and investors are leaving every week. Airports and hotels are empty. There's a massive fuel shortage as well. Soon the UAE will officially join the war. This means, More innocent people in Dubai unfortunately will be at massive risk. 4 people were severely injured yesterday. Massive power cuts and water cut offs could last for weeks. Hospitals won't be able to save critical patients. Dubai could collapse.

@TiceRichard @policylaila @ReformUKLondon Richard, you’ve got a short memory for someone aspiring to high political office. You don’t remember the London riots in 2011? Or who was Mayor of London at the time? Well let me jog your memory. It was Boris Johnson. Didn’t you donate to the Tory Party not that long ago?

Just catching up with the disgraceful scenes in Clapham this week. There obviously need to be serious consequences for this sort of outrageous and criminal behaviour. The police should make a lot of arrests and send out the message loud and clear that thuggery won’t be tolerated.

@trader1sz Sounds more like the UK to me. A third world shithole with nothing to sell. Just a big benefit magnet. Lets see how that works out 👍

Everyone thinks Dubai is the escape. No taxes. No regulations. Freedom. This week, the UAE decided no more Iranians. Lived there your whole life? Doesn't matter. Healthcare worker? Don't care. You didn't escape to freedom. You escaped to someone else's thumb on your fate. At least in the West, they have to tell you why.

Governments are urging citizens to avoid travel to the UAE, including transit. If you’re there, they advise you leave now while commercial flights are available. “Don’t leave it until it’s too late.” Attacks on tourist sites and hotels are expected in Dubai.

Kuwait was stolen from Iraq by the British. Bahrain was stolen from Iran by the British. The UAE was stolen from Oman by the British. Qatar was carved out of Bahrain by the British. Pakistan & Bangladesh was split out of India by the British. A clear pattern of colonial theft and fragmentation.

Dubai is not safe. Three more people are confirmed dead after Iran missile strikes. Whether it's debris, a drone or a direct strike, makes little difference to the victims. Lift trivial travel bans for people stuck in Dubai over a civil matter. Let them leave if they want!

English is still the most beautiful, versatile, logical, poetic and wonderful language in the whole world. I speak six languages. Many writers from many other languages say this about English. Because it has been perfected over millennia of discourse, poetry and debate.
