@DaffyDuckMan @pepstrickyblues @__TheNearPost_ Salah’s goal was offside first leg, sane’s goal was onside second leg. Should have been 2-2 with the final quarter to go!
English

@jtweets1865 It’s not though is it, it discard the Cup Winners’ Cup which was on a par with the UEFA cup
English

@WilliamBoland16 @mehulg10 And Salah’s goal first leg was offside
English

City deadass lost to Monaco on away goals, then got smoked by Liverpool, then lost to Spurs on away goals after an incorrect handball and last-minute winner overturned, then lost to Lyon after missing an open goal, then lost the final to Chelsea and then lost to Real Madrid after conceding two stoppage time goals before going on and finally winning the trophy.
That's how much you need to suffer and show persistence to ultimately win the Champions League.
English

@TYM_04 @pepstrickyblues @__TheNearPost_ Yeah, they were great in Europe that year. City’s form was also excellent and better in the league
English

@Josh_Slater @pepstrickyblues @__TheNearPost_ Chelsea's form under Tuchel in UCL that year was better than everyone
English

@TYM_04 @pepstrickyblues @__TheNearPost_ With the team and form we had and the team and form you had, we should have. It was madness Pep didn’t play Fernandinho and it was tragic KDB was filled in by Rudiger. It’s done and it’s history, but in the context of what could have been, it’s the lowest hanging fruit.
English

@pepstrickyblues @__TheNearPost_ 17/18 was horrible refereeing and who knows what would have happened thereafter.
20/21 we should have won.
21/22 we should have played Liverpool in the final.
But after all that, I’d not change Istanbul being our one win for anything - it was magic
English

@__TheNearPost_ Just strange man.
17/18 pool were nuts, fairs.
18/19- 1st leg vs Spurs horrible team selection
19/20- 3ATB randomly but Sterling Miss
20/21- no DM
21/22- squad was on it’s last legs, fairs.
23/24- would put it more on the players
24/25-😂
25/26- terrible coaching
English

@RodrigoProp @pepstrickyblues @__TheNearPost_ Mate it’s been 8 years and I am still banging this drum, the 17/18 loss to Liverpool was criminal refereeing, Salah’s goal in the first leg was offside too, he was over the halfway line!
English

@pepstrickyblues @__TheNearPost_ Even 17/18 we should’ve won. Had a goal wrongly ruled out for offside at Anfield and a goal wrongly ruled out for offside in the first half of the second leg. That would’ve had us leading on away goals at half time of the second leg.
English

@thaktonhemlock @RafaelH117 It’s a tough competition to win! Should’ve done it in Porto, thankfully Istanbul made it all better
English

@Josh_Slater @RafaelH117 That makes things a lot better.

@thomasforth Please do I hate these graphics where London is Greater London but GM, Merseyside, West Mids are not like for like represented
English

Love this. I should make a version with equivalent sizes of cities. Manchester should include Salford etc...

@Deveroonie @Motorsportfan__ @uncreativetom Makes absolutely no sense - perhaps they think ‘northern’ is tainted as a brand, but it fundamentally has got at least a bit better since brought in house
English

@Motorsportfan__ @uncreativetom and yet it's GBR Southern not GBR South
English

Heidi telling Geoff Marshall "we did [the branding] all in house" yea we can fucking tell please hire someone who knows anything
Harleys Travels @HarleysTravels
Funny how there's no Great British Railways | Gatwick Express or Great British Railways | Heathrow Express Does this mean the HX and GX will become part of Great Western and Southern, maybe?
English

@piersmorgan 2018 - City 100 points, went to Salah who’s team finished fourth and runner up in CL F
2019 - City win all domestic trophies, went to VVD due to CL win and 97pts
2020 - Liverpool win PL City win EFLC, KDB wins it.
Winning PL ≠ POTY
English

WHAT IS GOING ON?
How can a serial loser this season beat a man who has driven Arsenal to our first League title in 22 years?
This is complete madness.
