@DreamLeaf5 So don't get upset when you didn't find armpit hair on a woman gross. They're not going to find it attractive. Some men will but most men want sorry.

@wubbxyleahhhhh @doublegee___ Right they can move on to somewhere else if they have a problem with this. You can ignore people it's okay. They don't have to like it. But they don't have to go because you are uncomfortable the world is not a safe space it never should be.

@JrwallaceR @doublegee___ Exactly. Nobody can force you to give them your time and attention. So if someone doesn’t want to talk, dance, flirt, or engage, they’re allowed to say no and move on. Glad we agree.

@JrwallaceR @doublegee___ You’re confusing “people can look at you” with “people are entitled to your time and attention.” Those aren’t the same thing. So by your logic, the moment someone leaves their house they lose the right to say no? Yeah, that’s not how interacting with other humans works.

@wubbxyleahhhhh @doublegee___ You don't have the right to refuse attention. If you don't want attention and get out of there. If you don't want someone looking at you you need to stay the hell away from people.

@JrwallaceR @doublegee___ Boundaries mean you can interact with people, and they can still say yes or no. A club isn’t a place where people lose the right to refuse attention. That’s what I’m talking about.

@JrwallaceR @doublegee___ Nobody said you can’t approach people. The point is you’re not entitled to their time or interest, and “no” has to be respected. That “don’t leave your house” argument is just you dodging the actual point about boundaries and consent.

@wubbxyleahhhhh @doublegee___ Yes strangers can approach you. They can approach you at the coffee shop the dry cleaners, little league games whatever. If you didn't consent to being approached you shouldn't leave your house.

@JrwallaceR @doublegee___ Even if you call it a “sexually charged place,” that still doesn’t mean people are there to be approached by everyone or owe strangers attention. It just means the environment is social and nightlife-focused. Consent and personal space still apply.

@JrwallaceR @doublegee___ To you maybe. Not everyone goes to a club with the goal of finding a date. Some people genuinely just want to dance, drink, hang out with friends, and go home. It’s not that hard to understand.

@JrwallaceR @doublegee___ So by that logic, nobody goes to concerts for music because you can listen to music anywhere. People go to clubs because they enjoy the atmosphere, dancing, and being with friends. Not everything revolves around getting attention from men.
