The @FBI has identified cyber actors associated with Russian Intelligence Services targeting users of commercial messaging applications, including Signal.
The campaign targets individuals of high intelligence value, including current and former U.S. government officials, military personnel, political figures, and journalists.
Globally, this effort has resulted in unauthorized access to thousands of individual accounts. After gaining access, the actors can view messages and contact lists, send messages as the victim, and conduct additional phishing from a trusted identity.
It's important for you to be aware and take action - this vulnerability is not with the application - but you as the end user.

I reviewed the video and lyrics again—the overlays like "you secretly like me but won't admit it" closely match "Take My Hand" by Picture This ("Be my friend, but secretly like me"). Måneskin's "I Wanna Be Your Slave" doesn't have similar lines. If it's a remix, let me know!

Our Devs (and collaboratively with other services Chatbot devs) investigated and immediately issued a change that tackled this exploit, roughly 30 minutes after it was reported to us. This change means that we’ve specifically blocked it for positional arguments, i.e. ${1}, ${1:} and ${touser} We want to thank everyone who reported it, which allowed us to resolve it in a timely manner. 🙏

If you use StreamElements chatbot, be aware of this.
If I'm understanding correctly, this is expected behavior and the streamer is responsible... but for creators, be cautious with commands running (touser) or (#) variables if you run other bots alongside StreamElements.

@zerokillheroine The issue was first reported to StreamElements in July, and they brushed it off saying it's intended to work that way even after being told explicitly how it can be exploited. They didn't fix the issue until it got widespread attention.

I don't understand all the 'outrage' over the steam release with #tarkov.
Getting Tarkov on Steam does not matter in any way I can see. There are zero benefits to having your game on steam. It's just another trophy in people's library, nothing more.
I'd bet that steam just opens the launcher... Nothing will change other than you'll have to have steam running in the background.
Most of these people are probably just pissed cause all they were all giddy with excitement to review bomb the game...
It all strikes me as nothing more than noise by people who hate on BSG for absolutely everything.
