
You're making a couple of very big assumptions here. 1) If you gave everybody the big raise most of the employees would be complaining that it wasn't enough and in a year it would be complaining because they didn't get another giant raise. In addition, although Kimberly Clark has been very successful this year, what if something happens and destroys their market share and then they have to lay people off? Also, bees employees are not slaves. They can look for another job if they don't like working at Kimberly Clark.
