A rant: Tipping culture is out of control. I'm a generous tipper. But 20% for someone to make eye contact & hand me a muffin is crazy. Restaurants widely suggesting people tip 30% now is kookoo bananas. At this rate we'll soon be tipping the price of the meal. Make it stop.

@summermar2025 @billybinion Heavy, indeed. As a European i can’t get my head around it either . A genuine question: if you tip more, don’t you incentivise the owner to pay their staff less?

@summermar2025 @billybinion Here in the U.S. we have a certain percentage of the population big mad they can’t own people and force them to labor.

@billybinion Here in Europe we have a concept where the employer pays the employees salaries and we consumer pay the price the goods and services are tagged with.

Did anyone else watching the #Oscars experience their @hulu kill the broadcast at best actress?! We got an error message and it cut out saying the show was over! Couldn’t get it back and missed best actress and best picture winners. Absolutely sucked. Going to catch the replay. So much for streaming being the future of the broadcast. We’re in San Diego. Not sure if this was a territory issue or something.

@realhannahcarl @keatingssixth Check your shoulder/ thoracic outlet. My friend had carpel tunnel symptoms and almost got the surgery. Turns out it was all the way in her shoulder, did PT and it cleared up.

@keatingssixth My primary care physician did a bunch of tests to figure out why I haven’t had feeling in multiple fingers for months and the pain keeps getting worse and when they found everything normal they basically told me they didn’t believe me and refused to get me a referral.

I kid you not I got an ultrasound at emergency for pelvic pain and this doctor said everything came back normal see you’re fine and I read out loud on the paper “it says I got a fibroid and ovarian cyst??” and the doctor went “Oh yeah, well—“

Ask @CatStaggs what it is like to live with a writer, and she will tell you that I spent the last twenty minutes tossing out punny names for the dive bar setting of a horror story.
