I don't want to talk big and end up doing nothing. I don't want to plan and set goals that will amount to nothing. I want to take meaningful actions that will impact lives meaningfully, mine included. So help me God.

🗣️ Dear Nigerians, @TrackaNG submitted a Freedom of Information request on March 2, asking for clarity on the cost, process, and key details of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway project. We are asking these questions because projects of this scale involve public funds and have real implications for communities, livelihoods, and the environment. Nigerians deserve to know how decisions are made and how resources are being used. Till date, there has been no response. #AskQuestions #GetInvolved
Tracka@TrackaNG

The Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway is not just about building a road. It is raising deep accountability and governance concerns that cannot be ignored. Beyond the headlines, several critical issues stand out: - Unclear total project cost and limited public disclosure on procurement process. - Demolitions and displacement of businesses and livelihoods with concerns around compensation. - Environmental risks to coastal communities, wetlands, and long term climate impact. - Phased commissioning that raises questions about political optics versus actual project completion. - Uncertainty around project design, scope, and long term maintenance plan. At Tracka, we have joined many well-meaning Nigerians in demanding answers. We submitted a Freedom of Information request to @FMWNIG through the office of the minister @DaveUmahi to seek clarity on these issues since March 2, yet no response has been received to date. This lack of transparency weakens public trust and raises further concerns about how large-scale infrastructure projects are being managed. Public projects of this magnitude must be open, accountable, and people-centred. Citizens deserve to know the true cost, the process, and the long-term impact. We will continue to #followtheprojects and demand accountability because #publicfundsmustworkforthegoodofthepeople. #askquestions

Grounded crayfish on sliced bread as a spread then you add another slice on it and dig in. Tastes like heaven. Try it and thank me later.

And PETER OBI is not the lesser evil, never in our history have we had a politician that the opposition couldn’t stifle by pinning some of their crimes on them. In the context of politics, He is a SAINT, squeaky clean SAINT OBI.

A similar scenario made my uncle hold a family meeting for me. I greeted my uncle like 5 times he didn't respond then I was like I won't greet again till I have his attention and/or make eye contact. So I walked past him, that same morning o, that's where issue started. Everybody had to gather because he was raising his voice.

On my way to the church, a child greeted me, but I was too lost in my thoughts to hear, I just noticed someone passed. The little cute girl came back and said "aunty I greeted you, and you did not answer." 🥺 she should be around 7yrs. I wish I had that kind of confidence when I was her age. Her mum is doing a great job.

Has Moniepoint overtaken Opay in usage/customer base? I see more Moniepoint than Opay anytime I request for account to pay, especially for businesses and POS centers. I see Opay more for individual non-business users.

@the_amazingama Or maybe it's too evil that we think this person must be stupid to think we don't see through this but all we do is point out the stupidity and not nip it in the bud

The average Nigerian government official pretends to be stupid so that we won’t take them too seriously. They may not actually be stupid. That’s because stupidity is more dangerous than being evil People tend to tolerate stupid people more than outrightly evil people. And so stupidity is a weapon evil people can use Nigerian politicians say and do so much stupid shit and we mock them meanwhile the Overton window continues to accommodate their incompetence. Over time, crass misbehavior and nonsense becomes normal So many things that would have been outrageous 10 years ago are now normal
