Let me tell you something about your new nominee for SecDef. Yeah he’s my friend and an awesome patriot and I’d go to the wall for him. But I’m not alone. I’m thankful that because of my job I have gotten to know hundreds of SEALS, Green Berets, Marines, pilots and infantrymen. The men who actually fight wars. And he has the respect of them ALL. You see, importantly for America he’s a war fighter. Who understands war fighters. He hasn’t spent his career climbing the ladder of ass kissing promotions and defense contractor hand shakes. He hasn’t sold his soul for another star on his uniform. He won his medals on the battlefield. He’s wicked smart. But more importantly principled and strong. He understands the purpose of the U.S. military. And he will make it GREAT AGAIN. 🇺🇸
