Dear Cyril, I do not consent to the economic rape that we as South African taxpayers are being subjected to by your government. R700 million for a circle jerk to chat about 30 years of your party’s failed governance?Just do the job we pay you for, or resign. Thanks Gatvol

We’re doing a quick survey on our phenomenal audience - that’s you! I promise it’ll take you less than a minute, and it’s totally anonymous - but will help us a lot. No contact details required, so we won’t spam you either. 😉♥️ surveymonkey.com/r/JT33JWP

Is there anything wrong with your critique of @jsteenhuisen here? Not really. But it is highly hypocritical that you would call him out for his staffers bad form when your party leader @HermanMashaba has spewed absolute racist bile on social media and you've never taken a stand against him.
Athol Trollip@AtholT

We as ActionSA note your admission that the comment was in bad taste, it was. What is of concern is that it took so long to address this matter especially as it was trending on social media and raised by myself in the portfolio committee. This comment wasn’t from just any ministry staff member but your adviser/chief of staff and unfortunately reflects very poorly on yourself as well.

@IanCameron23 @VusiSambo If people who draw a salary through the public purse cannot be transparent then they should not be allowed to draw a salary through the public purse.

In December 2024, I received a lawyer’s letter on behalf of Major General Feroz Khan. The letter accused me of making “defamatory” remarks, said it was “not unreasonable” to understand my reference to a “major general” as a reference to Khan, and demanded that I “formally retract” and “cease and desist” from making similar remarks. The relevant issue then was already clear: allegations around questionable procurements, the secret service fund, media smear campaigns, and defeating the ends of justice in relation to a cocaine seizure case. Now, less than two years later, Major General Khan is at the centre of the very kind of Crime Intelligence corruption crisis we warned about. The Madlanga Commission has now heard serious allegations involving Khan, his seized devices, and alleged interference in investigations. He has also reportedly withdrawn court attempts to block access to those devices and to have parts of the process heard behind closed doors. This raises a much bigger question: how did a person with this level of controversy remain protected for so long inside one of the most sensitive environments in the SAPS? It also demands proper scrutiny of how he rose through the ranks. Khan was promoted from colonel to major general, skipping brigadier. If that was irregular, who approved it, who protected it, and why? Just remember that Khan reportedly also skipped the rank of lieutenant colonel. He went straight from captain to full colonel and straight from colonel to major general. South Africans deserve a police service run by people committed to law, discipline and integrity, not a Crime Intelligence environment where warnings are met with lawyer’s letters, while the truth only surfaces years later through commissions and court papers.

@_ThePugFather Yeah probably because the Somalis wouldn’t let the Chinese get as far into the gulf as Djibouti, and West Africa is too far for the Somalis 🤣

@ManablazeMick I'm on the West African coast, it's been over fished completely so I gave up. Djibouti was absolutely awesome though, most life I've ever seen in the ocean. Caught plenty Baracuda, GT and wahoo that side.

R4.45 billion stolen and laundered. Government doesn’t give a fuck because they’ll get the funds from you and I some other way to bankroll their pension guarantee obligations, so employees cough cough…won’t be affected, and politicians will have an excuse to extract more money

R4.45 billion. Gone. The government’s pension fund invested in 15 companies which lost 100% of their money – Newsday share.google/Hc1cMGGbr3nXTg…

@GamingGrifter @OBrandwag @Vodacom @MTNza They’re the ones selling your number. And, there’s already a free opt-out service, but it’s about as useless as tits on a goldfish. And, paying for something to not happen sounds a lot like extortion. Try this instead: x.com/manablazemick/…

@GarethCliff Invent a service that automatically bills my mobile service provider for my time spent entertaining spam calls. That amount can be offset against my cellphone bill with them. Then it’s up to them to either block spam calls before I get them, or to recover costs from the spammer

So here's an idea @Vodacom and @MTNza Why don't you guys just create a service, we will pay for it, where you can add your number to a DO NOT CALL list. Once on there your number cannot be given out to any call centre or spam merchant and you personally remove all numbers from these databases We are sick and tired of this nonsense.
