A sitting member of the U.S. House of Representatives is talking to elementary school children about being trans while parents are at work trying to provide for their families. Parents are fed up with schools and politicians pushing adult social issues on little kids instead of focusing on reading, writing, math, and science. Parents should decide when and how these conversations happen — not politicians in classrooms.

Although I give her Props for the honesty and hustle, let’s be real: this baby girl is already walking into disadvantages stacked by mom’s choices — absent daily father figure, unstable income, health complications, and reliance on grandma. Single motherhood + chronic illness + unemployment isn’t empowerment; it’s a tough setup that stats show often leads to harder outcomes for the child. Kids don’t sign up for the consequences of adult decisions. Do better.

This is what a decade plus one year of Liberal decline looks like in daily life. People talk about “the economy” like it is some abstract spreadsheet. It is not. It shows up when eating out feels like a ripoff, service gets worse, prices climb, and ordinary people start cutting back on basic social habits. Restaurants did not suddenly become lazy for no reason. They are getting crushed by rent, taxes, wages, food costs, energy costs, debt, and customers who are tapped out. That is the real Liberal legacy. A country where everything costs more, quality drops, and people are told to be grateful because some poll says the government is popular. Decline does not always arrive with a siren. Sometimes it arrives as a bland $28 burger and bad service.
