The Spurs know how to TAKE the lead, they just don't know how to HOLD the lead. And that's really the most important part of the lead: the holding

@knickelplated @OldManAndThree @drinkspindrift I am not trying to start things with anyone on Twitter, but it's important to realize that, yes, it most certainly does matter. The pain that people like him and the many other examples of horrid Knicks tenures caused since post- 90s era is what makes this Finals run so emotional

@_J_S_M_860 @OldManAndThree @drinkspindrift Completely agree with the “genuine fans” part. Even with Starbury, I’m glad he’s still supporting, but it just seems like people are willingly forgetting just how much damage he did when he was a player here. The pain that era brought fans is what makes this Finals run so special

@MarkNilon @OldManAndThree @drinkspindrift I hated him n agree, n tbh feel that way bout most the players that go. I see us celebrating guys who cost us But im still glad to see them embracing the team. They seem like genuine fans

@Gamz3000 @OldManAndThree @drinkspindrift This isn’t me refusing to move on. It’s about imploring fans to not re-write and forget about history. We can celebrate this team to the fullest WITHOUT erasing points of pain from the past (Marbury, for example) that make this moment as special as it truly is

@NBA_NewYork LOVE this! Mikal needs to play with a fire under him. Hopefully this adversity unleashes the beast!!!!

@SbondyNBA Preach! Regardless of his roots as a native New Yorker, he was a cancerous Knick -- from canning Larry Brown to literally being banned from MSG his final season with the team, he should NOT be sitting next to these all-time team legends, let alone be celebrated by fans

🚨ATTENTION! 🚨I'll be dropping the exclusive trailer for "The Boy From St. Croix" right here tomorrow at 10 a.m. ET. Directed by Tim Duncan's brother, Scott, it's an intimate documentary telling the story of the legend himself.

@SbondyNBA @IanBegley As fas as single season feats, Melo’s 2012-13 run with the Knicks was his best as a pro. However, from a year-after-year perspective, his days in Denver were easily his best. Agreed!

When you think of Carmelo Anthony in the NBA, you think of #7 on the Knicks. That was partly by his own design. But #15 in Denver was the better - and forgotten - version. nypost.com/2025/09/11/spo…

@Ticket1430 @__JonathanSmith I'm FAR from a Jones fan, but saying him having the same season that Minshew had in his lone year with the Colts would be viewed as "the best year of his career" auto suggests you have not paid attention to any of his past seasons in the NFL. DJ has 2 better seasons already

@JDVance Whether you’re telling him to “do your job” or not, it’s literally an authoritarian tactic to threaten imprisonment like this @JDVance. Guess they didn’t teach you common sense at Yale…

@rowindatas25 @7PMinBrooklyn @NBA_NewYork @FDSportsbook Being a native New Yorker as well as one of the last great NYC-born guard prospects does not excuse his horrendous tenure with the Knicks. The fact that he's sitting alongside Ewing, Starks, and even Melo and being celebrated is disrespectful to NYK legends. At least to me

Interacting with Knicks Alumni from different generations at The Garden is a special experience 💯 Melo: "They starting to stand on it now ... once a Knick always a Knick." Amar'e: "You can envision those guys playing in their eras." @FDSportsbook

@xenostroy A good lightsaber dual does NOT mean the entire product is forgiven for their overwhelming mistakes and laziness. The story is painfully forgettable. Star Wars and, frankly, Disney as a whole is learning the hard way that sometimes less is more. The Acolyte was egregiously rushed

The Spurs will be fine. All they have to do is • Stop giving up wide-open threes • Stop giving up endless off. rebounds • Shoot better • Pass better • Increase energy • Stop getting complacent • Fix rotations • Get a killer instinct
