@kevingohwm Outrage was bcz of his hypocrisy towards Vaishali. He had a handshake in the same event with Divya but not with Vaishali. It is good that he has apologised for his behaviour. Indians are already strong enough to not take it to heart. Do not show duplicity in religion at least.

Pretty hilarious how the chess world got super offended, released official statements and all when Vaishali and her brother had to repeatedly say that Yakubboev did not have to explain or apologise. These days it’s so common to be angry on behalf of others 🤣

Grovelling in a much worse position OTB last night, and not finding a good way to defend, I amused myself by finding actively bad ones. My opponent actually played 1.Rxb3 here - if he’d gone for 1.Bb5 instead, can you see what’s wrong with 1…0-0-0?

@GatoFranco90 First try was Ba6 Rb4. Then I looked at Bg4 Bf4, missing that Bf3 is mate. Looked at other moves by the bishop before coming back to Bg4. I'm 2300 Fide.
