@Jesandy1572 The devs probably feel little attachment to the characters, so they don't care about rewriting a characters identity in order to align with their "aggressive" philosophy. It's the players that feel betrayed.

This change just makes me sad. They prefaced the Leo patch notes mentioning how they are a technical character and proceed to patch out the fun technical pickups. Bamco really doesn't care about character identity.

@AlietteFaye I had a few friends, that mostly play league, buy sf6 just for the world tour mode. Create a character and beat shit up. None of them booted up online. None of them even faught each other. A good single player experience is important for the true casuals.

Don't want to get too deep into the FGC topic of the day, but I'll just put this out there. Street Fighter 6 has sold 6.36m copies as of last year. Even with this figure, which would be at least slightly outdated, only about 40% of players have even TOUCHED ranked at least once.

@Heefnoff I feel because fgs are inherently competitive, there is a part of the community that expects people to adopt a competitive mindset or quit. But there's fun to be had at all levels of play. Some play fgs to tickle their competitive drive, and others boot up to relax and unwind.

@RealMikeHollow I find it weird when people complain about how their opponent plays. They play a certain way because that's how they wanna play, and the game allows it. It either works or it doesn't. 🤷‍♂️ It's great when games allow freedom, and it's up to the devs to decide what's okay.

No disrespect to TMM but this has gotta be one of the dumbest takes I've ever heard in gaming let alone Tekken. Its a competitive game. People are gonna do whatever they can to win. Its up to the developers to give us tools that are fit for purpose, not litter the game with copious amounts of cheese and then the expectation be that we don't use said cheese. It is 100% on the developers and every single character (yes, every single character) in this game is cheesy. Yes, even your main. He might have less cheese than others, but its cheese all the same. Its Tekken 8. You can't avoid it and you're gonna use it if you wanna win.

@ZiegAmimura @HateLetter2 Don't put words in my mouth. You can lose to someone worse than you, but just because someone is worse doesn't mean they are ass. They probably aren't too far away from you skill wise, but your ego makes them seem leagues below you. You likely played like ass too if you lost.

@MegaMasterDerek @HateLetter2 Do you actually play fighting games dog? I really wish I had the patience to explain. Someone losing to someone at a lower level doesn't mean that person is below the level of who they lost to. Honestly beyond fighting games nothing competitive works that way 😭

@MegaMasterDerek @GO8Time @HateLetter2 Being random might get someone in one set if they're slow to adapt, especially in certain current volatile fighting games, but that doesnt mean they're better because they won that once.

@HateLetter2 Being unpredictable does not make you a terrible player. Sometimes, you just gotta throw out those random matterhorns even though you can get launched. Having a pattern can just make you predictable.

@Karasu_Rain Ranks mean different things to different players. My friend, who was new to video games, saw Warrior rank as an achievement. This sort of attitude just belittles someone's achievements and goals. Let's just have fun and play.

@DroopiTV I love Leo but... Being grounded at the Wall against Leo is too oppressive with her options. Access to heat out of stance also makes the Leo gameplan feel repetitive and boring. I fell in love with the character because they were cool and fun, but S2 made Leo feel lame.

Played this dude in quick match. He went into heat and did 3 low heat smashes in a row and the one time I tried to move or press, boom heatsmash. Literal aids mixup. You stay on the ground? F4 hits. Techroll F4? You’re -9. Spring kick? F4 floats. Roll on the ground? F4 hits. Try to mash on wake-up? F4 CHs into guaranteed wallsplatting heatsmash. Lol. I beat dude more times but this character is literal aids.

Bloom and devour. Flora Fatalis Lissandra, Fiddlesticks, and Soraka have taken root in PBE.
