@LunaMoonie I don't think I'll ever recover from that screen 😂 Good luck!!

It's a pretty sensitive mic, it'll pick me up if I'm on the other side of the room talking a bit louder... BUT it does reduce the quality the further away you are. If you want nice clear crisp professional sounding audio, around 6-10 inches from your face is best. You also need to make sure your room is quieter and may be harder to set up the filters to sound good if you are further away

@MimiMapleVT Its not that you "shouldn't" respond. Its just that its a kink space, and a lot of sage for work vtubers are interacting without knowing that

@MimiMapleVT You can thank us by keeping up the lovely content :)

@Little_Nycto And for advice id say lighting is super important and which background you choose too. a plain background or desk mat looks wayyyy better than a big boobie anime pink one lol

@Little_Nycto My first one was like record highs but since then, they are lower than normal. But, its hard to gauge honestly as I do them on Fridays which are generally lower for me anyway

So I rebranded last year and I'm now at the point of hitting half the 75's for partner (so hopefully in the next couple of months!!) here are some things I changed:
- created a brand more genuine to myself, with a clear, defined theme that I can run with instead of being unsure what my brand or theme is at all
- Accidentally found a game that became my niche (this has helped a lot, but it can be hard to find your niche)
- create short form content specifically for YouTube shorts and tiktok. It's nice to post clips, but everyone's posting clips, so create something special! I made a series of shorts about the game that became my niche, which then lead to longer videos for the same game.
- consistency. Both in posting your short form content and your streaming. Get a schedule if you can and try your best to stick to it. And also, try not to hop from one thing to another constantly just because it didn't work out after 2 days.
- ensure your twitch page is as peak as it can be. Also making sure your panels don't make you look like a money grabber, so make sure you have a nice balance of panels saying about money and others that arent.
- networking by creating genuine connections with people and communities you enjoy, not just targeting people that you think will help you grow. Actually find friends and enjoy yourself.
- Love your community. Build a community that you are proud of and that you enjoy being a part of. Your community is what really matters and if you push for them they'll push for you. If you create a community full of people that you enjoy, then you'll never be bored. If you're having a down day, when you stream they'll cheer you up and give you energy. There are days I feel like crap and don't feel like I can press go live, but my community is waiting. (nagging at me lol) If they feel valued, and not just like a piggy bank, they will value you ❤️
I hope these helped a bit. If you have any questions or anything feel free to dm me 😊 I'm not a guru lol but I can try to help

Have you ever tried getting someone completely new to you to go through your socials and see if there's anything an outside pair of eyes could spot that you could change or improve? Or spending an hour or so with someone who give advice on this stuff? Never know there might be something you didn't think of?

Sometimes it’s hard watching people you know blow up or find huge growth in such a short amount of time. I’m genuinely happy for them and glad they were able to find success.
But it also makes you think about the creators who have been grinding for 5+ years, putting in the same effort, trying new things, networking, and making content, yet still can’t reach that same level of growth.
People often say, “just keep pushing, it’ll happen eventually,” but that’s a lot easier said than done when you’ve already been doing this for years.
It’s not that I’m not having fun streaming. I always do. I just wish that with the amount of time and effort put into it, sometimes the growth would reflect that the same way it seems to for others.
And sometimes it feels like there’s less room in the space for just gaming and having fun while also finding success if your content isn’t built around things like sexual content, girlfriend or boyfriend experiences, ASMR, rage bait, or the same tutorials about streaming and VTuber tools that countless people have already made.
Just something that’s been on my mind after seeing a lot of posts about it lately. I guess I just needed to vent for a second.
