This sweet Great Pyrenees is in need of a home for his last 2-4 years of life. He’s in Hilton, NY (Monroe County near Rochester, NY) This is a 9 year old male pure bred Pyr, an emotional support therapy dog who is healthy, fully vetted & neutered. His owner moved to an apartment complex living and the door was open. He did what Great Pyrenees do and guarded.. reacted to a stranger walking near his (open) door leading to a bite. No skin was broken. But the owner has ten days to get rid of him, according to apartment complex. This was a human mistake leading to this unfortunate situation. A shelter will euthanize him at his age and now a bite. Please share. Looking for a stable home with breed experience, fenced yard to help him live out his remaining years of life and not be dumped into a kill shelter. Was checking out some property near Leaksville, NC and was contacted third party about two dogs TBK. Still pups and were surrendered due to relocation. Nobody had come forward and time was up. I sped to the shelter not knowing them nor they me. With a few phone calls, sweet talk and some bona fides I was allowed to pull them. Sweet little girl and what is assumed to be her brother. Pure innocence. Cutting it short for this trip and on the way home now. Our adoption event has people looking and a few asked about bonded pairs. Guess it's a thing now. Good idea too and these pups sure fit. Trying to get back in time to hit the vet with them and then catch chores and give the vols the night off. Will be heading west to look again in a few days. Figured this wouldn't wait and shouldn't be an issue to home. Seven won't relinquish riding shotgun but is tolerating them. 😂

😭💔 Grab your tissues. 💔😭 Bubba is lost after wandering away from home and is trying to find his way back to his person. When he came across his owner’s clothing, he sniffed them and cried. He knows his person is out there, but his owner is currently recovering from surgery and cannot reach him. Thankfully, Found A Hound Rescue has set up a feeding station nearby and is slowly moving it closer to a trap each day. Bubba is eating well and has already picked up on when food is coming. Today is an important step. His food will be placed right at the entrance of the trap. Let’s all pray Bubba goes inside so he can be safe and reunited with his family. 💔🐾
