Investigators reviewed footage that allegedly shows Linda Gilstrap, 66, punching a Shih-Tzu multiple times while it was suspended in a grooming hammock and bending its paw backward. Hawthorne, Florida - Tyler Holtz, 36, was arrested after deputies say he threw five newborn kittens into a trash can inside tied plastic bags. A witness heard cries and called for help. Four kittens died. One survived and is getting care. Holtz is still behind bars on a $12,500 bond, facing five counts of animal cruelty. Breaking Update: We confirmed this yesterday - 2024 abuse video verified, charges expected Marietta, Ohio - On Sunday, we obtained the video and quickly confirmed an active investigation into the abuse of a mother dog. Today, the dog warden verified the video is from 2024, just resurfaced, and charges are expected. We know who the individuals are but will not release names. That line matters. This is my narrative. Get lost and take your dogs with you. And don’t forget the Homeless too. Isn’t it sad that essentially she’s just failing so many and doing her best to just act like it doesn’t exist. We have our own issues here in Texas, but I’m just glad you’re a mayor isn’t ours. 25 Sled Dogs Found Dead and 1 Clinging To Life. The suspect, Misty Rehder, remains locked up this morning not able to make the $25,000 bond. A judge ordering her no contact with animals. Mushers say they reported neglect for months before the dogs were found. One dog was found alive but severely malnourished. She also faces an eviction hearing May 5 at the same property where 25 sled dogs allegedly starved to death.
