New #OphthalmologyJournal #podcast! @DrewCareyMD interviews @JawadMuayad and Dr. Sami S. A 77-year-old man presented with a history of anterior uveitis with uveitic macular edema refractory to topical steroids. He was treated with a suprachoroidal triamcinolone acteonide suspension (0.1 ml of 40 mg/ml) injection in his right eye. A, Swept-source anterior segment OCT (ANTERION, Heidelberg Engineering) demonstrated normal angle and choroid (asterisk) anatomy before suprachoroidal injection. B, Anterior segment OCT after injection demonstrated a hyporeflective area confirming triamcinolone placement in the suprachoroidal space. From “Visualization of the Suprachoroidal Space with Swept-Source Anterior Segment OCT before and after Suprachoroidal Triamcinolone Acetonide Injection” by Bradley S. Gundlach, MD, MS, Irena Tsui, MD, Edmund Tsui, MD, MS. Published by Ophthalmology Retina online on April 21, 2025. ophthalmologyretina.org/article/S2468-…
