Valid points and definitely worth digesting. That’s said, in such a young chain, apps need to prove their worth before they can be pushed by the foundation. If the MF simply picked a few based off of prior relationships, VC funding or early metrics they could be making mistakes that could resonate for years. I still believe working with builders to transform and strengthen the ecosystem for the long term beats forcing adoption to a handful of teams. Long term vision over short term gains.

there is a vibe shift under way in the Monad foundation after a bit of turnover their approach to defi and incentives had been “we don’t want to kingmake, let the free market decide” this is a valid approach and i see a lot of foundations take unopinionated stances on their ecosystem, but it flies in the face of what the chain’s main priority needs to be: user acquisition. market participants need a reason to come over to your chain - namely, a killer app or an asset they want to hold. it’s the foundations responsibility to foster killer apps, and give market participants an incentive to try them. from the app’s perspective, they could go anywhere, so why would they pick YOUR chain? usually the reason is: distribution. until you’re at Solana or Ethereum levels of adoption, you’re going to need to brute force some of the distribution with incentives. it’s the chains responsibility to evaluate the opportunities to pour gas on the fire in their own ecosystem, and should ultimately be a merit based decision. i predict the Monad ecosystem will have more compelling opportunities for market participants over the coming year, and i’m excited to see what happens next.

the issue with allergies is you collect them throughout the day, they sit in your head while you sleep and clog you up so when you wake and stand, everything is congested. most will need medication to counter-act the different allergens, but each medication counters different allergies, so you need to mix and match to find the right combo. For bad allergies its best to get a panel done to see what you're allergic to and possibly have to get allergy shots to improve your life. unfortunately this isn't the answer you were looking for.
