@FB_Helmet_Guy Would've liked to see the Houston Oilers return to the NFL, but the city didn't have the foresight to push the NFL to leave our team name, unis and history with the hard working residents who paid to watch their games every Sunday. Yes, I'm still sour about it.

Check out the gloss helmets and gold facemasks stored in the Commanders equipment room. The team's primary helmets will be switching from satin to gloss shells and from burgundy to gold facemasks beginning this season.

@fashion_nfl They really missed with the stripe on the columbia blue pants and the white face mask, which should be red (my money is on it changing to red within two seasons, if not sooner).

@NFLUniSmags @FB_Helmet_Guy My best guess is that the players wear so much extra gear now and they all wear their socks/hosiery so differently that most owners/the league prefer solid at an attempt to avoid chaos below the knee...but thats just a bullshit excuse I came up with to cope, I'm with you.

@FB_Helmet_Guy Certainly. My main concern, a common one, is the lack of sock stripes. For a design that's based on, and largely similar to, a classical, golden era of fulfillment and structure, that's a very glaring omission; I don't know why solid-socks are more desired than the fix.

@fashion_nfl I dunno, I feel like everyone loves their throwbacks more. If you ask me,as long as they keep wearing their grey pants home and away, their current set looks good.

Todd Van Horne deserves his flowers for the Seahawks current uniform wardrobe. Whether you're throwback-or-bust or a Modern Classic advocate like me, we can all acknowledge and appreciate the brilliance of this design, which has become a favorite of many and legitimately iconic.
