Navillus Contracting

After successfully completing the test pile program in March, we quickly moved into production piles (friction pile foundation). We are now half way through the pile installation at PS369Q. We look forward to finishing this scope and moving onto the Concrete superstructure.

Announcing a successful TCO walkthrough on April 2nd, @ PS 347X a new 52,000 sqft school in the Bronx. 5-story building consisted of a concrete superstructure, rainscreen cladding exterior envelope, aluminum windows + storefronts. New HVAC systems w/ four RTUs + two elevators!

At PS 46Q, the Navillus team is moving forward with support of excavation works, including lagging, soldier pile and tie back installation. Pictures here feature our myComply turnstile, Hütte Bohrtechnik GmbH drill rig, and Caterpillar Inc. 325F excavator. @NYCSchools

At Metro North Plaza, Navillus is working on flood proofing the buildings, constructing a new Annex to house the boiler and generators above the FEMA flood level, and installing standby gas-fired generators in all the buildings as part of @NYCHA’s Recovery and Resilience Program.

Triborough Bridges and Tunnels Authority contracted us on a Design-Build contract to rehabilitate the current ventilation system. Designing & manufacturing new custom motors, providing required structural modifications, installing new electrical & controls for the fan motors.

PS70 in Staten Island- Navillus is subcontracted for 40,000 SF install of masonry façade, back-up CMU, air vapor barrier, brick & cast stone, interior CMU walls in the cellar, elevator shaft and staircases, plus the installation of all scaffolding associated with our masonry.

Every year, Navillus participates in OSHA’s National Safety Stand-Down week to train our employees on worksite safety and preventing unnecessary falls and injuries. Safety is our top priority, for workers and for residents who live near our jobs. @NYCHA @OSHA_DOL

Substantial completion has been achieved at LaGuardia Houses under the Recovery & Resilience Program. @NYCHA will now have beneficial use of a New Electrical Supply Building, which provides both normal + emergency power to three 16-story residential towers within the development.
