A Gaza oltre 1700 in meno di 3. 6.Dal 2023 al 2025, 25 operatori umanitari (incluso personale delle Nazioni Unite) hanno perso la vita in Ucraina. A Gaza sono 560. 7.Se consideriamo la dimensione della popolazione (39,5 milioni vs. 2.3) questi numeri assumono valori ancora più diseguali poiché, per paragonare le due catastrofi umanitarie, i morti a Gaza dovrebbero essere moltiplicati per 39,5/2,1=18,8). 8.In Ucraina la percentuale di popolazione con livello 5 (catastrofico) di insicurezza alimentare è 0% contro il 32% a Gaza. In Sudan è dell’1%. 9.Poche settimane dopo l’invasione dell’Ucraina, L’Unione Europea ha boicottato le istituzioni russe e imposto oltre 16.000 sanzioni. Nei confronti di Israele, invece, dopo tre anni di GENOCIDIO, e’ stato fatto poco o niente. 10.In Ucraina abbiamo inviato armi a un Paese vittima di un’aggressione. A Gaza, invece, abbiamo spedito armi all’aggressore. Abbiamo inviato armi a un Paese che sta commettendo un genocidio in mondovisione. Ogni vita umana conta molto di più di come e quanto può essere contata e questi numeri non dovrebbero certo far diminuire la nostra solidarietà verso uno dei due popoli colpiti da queste crisi umanitarie. Eppure, la disparità di intervento dei Paesi occidentali, che si dipingono come paladini dei diritti umani e dell’uguaglianza, ci dovrebbe interrogare su questi doppi standard di tipo politico, morale e psicologico.
