Mobius has ever been the name of Sonic's world in the older non-canon cartoons and comics. In the games, Sonic's world has been called Earth since Sonic Adventure.

Screw it, I'll write a proto-thread on why I think Blaze should be kept in Sonic '06 — that entirely stripping her (rather than just filling in the holes and utilizing her more which is the problem) is boring and lame.
Blaze is in Sonic '06 for a reason. It is compelling to me.

And if it’s about the timeline split from Sonic 06 that created the Sol Dimension (or changed the other dimension) that I also saw, I believe it’s very true as well.

@guessingdame @FrostlichTheDK It was going to be a plot that would be further developed in a Silver solo game and it would also give more development to the Sol Dimension in handheld games but due to the gigantic failure of Sonic 2006 and Rush Adventure not selling so well, the plotline was not used again.

@guessingdame @FrostlichTheDK Blame it on the scrambled development between Rush, 2006 and Rivals but the story was always meant to have Blaze start out from the future, be transferred to the Sol Dimension at the end of Silver's story, then Solaris is erased, Blaze is rewritten to the Princess that we know.

@THENEWOmegan He can potentially be brought back later on but SEGA really seems to avoid stuff regarding Silver's future in general and so, they're gonna avoid Eggman Nega too given that he is Silver's main villain. Really sad indeed.

Honestly I kind of have a love hate relationship with the idea of Nega dying in Rivals 2 because on one hand I do think Nega should die at some point but on the other hand there's still so much more that can be done with him that him dying here feels so unsatisfying.

@SonicLorepost But overall, Final Horizon is still meant to be the true ending of Sonic Frontiers and possibly the canon ending in the comics too considering Sonic's lack of surprise seeing Sage being alive and well.

@guessingdame After all the resulting hate to Silver and Sonic 06 and how they claim it “ruined Blaze”, but try to ruin it themselves and make it make less sense by placing it after their precious Sonic Rush. When that will lead to selective double amnesia and other issues more than 06 first.
