Who else thinks it's time Black people, especially rich Black athletes and celebrities, started laying the ground work for a Barack Obama Performance Center for Modern Art. The Center should feature art and music of more modern genres like R&B, hip-hop, Neo Soul, and modern Black art, culture, and comedy. We can't wait for others to honor our culture and our heroes. We have to be out front in honoring our own. And what better time than Black Music Month to get serious about such an endeavor?
