•NOAA shows similar anomalies relative to the 20th-century average.
•Copernicus Climate Change Service reports 2023 and 2024 exceeding ~1.4–1.5°C above pre-industrial levels in parts of the year.
It’s important to note:
•The 20th-century average baseline differs slightly from the pre-industrial (1850–1900) baseline often used in climate policy discussions.
•When compared to pre-industrial levels, recent global temperatures are roughly ~1.2–1.5°C warmer.
