A feature I would love to see in Sea Of Thieves is the ability to just click hourglass from the main menu and instantly be in queue with random teammates. Also have the matchmaking put you against other open crews as well (unless there’s none to queue against). This would create endless fun and would help new players find crewmates that want to PVP.

@Noobface 8/10 feels fair. Getting right back into a match and a supply crate are great additions. Def a little annoying on brig/gally that bilge gets shafted with crate situation. Guess if you get a win you can use losers crate for it. Have yet to blunder cheese a ship out of bounds

HOURGLASS UPDATE REVIEW: SHRINKING ZONES: As expected as soon as they announced them, they do nothing but grief every broad to broad. Even if you don’t get screwed by it, you will get tinnitus by the end of the match. Runners were annoying but it was less common than the amount of times this zone screws over good fights. I don’t want to win like that either. The zone should just shrink one time and it would be perfect. SUPPLY CRATES: It’s finally here but I can’t help but think it should’ve been here in 2022. Being able to hop right in without supping up forever instantly made the mode twice as fun. I do wish they made it so you can depo the hourglass crates into your barrels instantly, and also it should put some wood into your barrel so the helm doesn’t have to steal the main crate mid match. INSTA QUEUE: Another update that makes me wonder how many hours we would’ve saved over the years if it was here from the start. Hands down the best addition to hourglass. You can go ram and have fun without losing anything (like in arena), and then jump right back into the queue with supplies and an emissary. People who would’ve usually just got off are now more willing to say “alright one more game” and keep going. Not to mention that queues as a whole are much faster because of it (other than when it glitches and outposts you). It does often cause rematches over and over, but you can just wait a minute to dive if you want to avoid that. Plus if you’re getting griefed by PVE it’s faster to just scuttle and press 1 to get back in the queues lmao NEW REWARDS: They gotta stop releasing rewards tied to levels. Anyone who plays hourglass actively already insta unlocks them. Instead there should be new commendations tied to the update. Like “sink a ship that sunk you after insta requeuing” or “sink 10 ships with the shrinking zone” for example. PERFORMANCE AND BUGS: The performance this update is noticeably worse. A lot of microstutters and full freezes at crucial moments. I haven’t played much adventure so not sure if it’s related to hourglass or just the whole game. None of the game breaking bugs were fixed and now there are new ones. Mast/ammo bug seems to happen even more frequently now. Even your own mast can be bugged and unable to raise. You can still be stuck in a glitch state when harpooned and unable to use anything. Storage crates will sometimes go flying to space. And worst of all it seems like someone DCs every other match. Overall the update is a 8/10 but it needs some polishing. Inb4 “why do you play the game if you hate it” comments from brainlets

It'd probably be a 1k+ reward, but thought itd be sick to have gold variants of the ghost weapons. But yeah other ghost colors is a simple yet good idea for 200-1000 range
