10 years ago my wife and I took our son, 9, to a film in Leicester Sq in London. His put his Xmas present, a mobile phone, on the seat arm during the film. Someone swiped it. We watched the thief’s progress via a tracker. He walked round the square, then, presumably troubled by conscience, headed back and handed in the phone to the cinema staff. My son was overjoyed.
