Shaping the Future of Catalyst Milestones: Your Feedback Needed 😎 Hello beautiful soul! It’s been a bit of a roller coaster start to 2026, but our mission remains unchanged. Throughout the second half of 2025, I wrote extensively about the need to refresh the Catalyst Milestone Program to keep pace with our rapidly evolving ecosystem. We’ve already begun this journey with targeted tooling improvements in Q4, but now it’s time to go deeper. As I shared in December, H1-2026 is dedicated to refining the Milestone Program - the true cornerstone of how @Catalyst_onX operates today. Aligning for Success 🚀 Our first major step is harmonizing requirements between Funded Proposers and Milestone Reviewers. By narrowing the gap in understanding and aligning our expectations, we can: 👉 Set every participant up for success from day one. 👉 Ensure accountability that is both repeatable and auditable. 👉 Standardize the "Proof of Achievement" (PoA) process to remove guesswork across both functional roles - proposers and reviewers alike. Because this program is deeply embedded into the @Cardano ecosystem, I want to ensure these changes reflect (y)our collective reality. 2025 was graduation year. Eastern Townhall members branched out with their developed community. Others continued initial mission and evolve to include businesses. Producing devs persist with added goal cross-chain collabs. End of 2025 it materializes. With ADA influx value from Catalyst, stretched initial goal to setup a blockchain hub in Indonesia's top uni is on path to becoming 5 hubs. We encourage these hubs to collab with other chains to explore how one chain can benefit from the other. Started by supporting a collab with BASE Indonesia to introduce blockchain to unis where 250+ devs from 25+ Indonesia unis registered. Output; are Catalyst proposals that utilize Cardano while tapping into BASE's and other chains liquidity. One proposal will be from MegaETH incubatee, @SenjaLabs Any chain after BASE? Yes. Anything besides edu? Yes. Businesses Q3 2026. Any apps developed? Yes. Q2 2026. @FredGregaard Thus, DReps using GPT or any tools to produce an unbiased score would be the most suitable approach for a person/DRep having 24 hours/day.

@FredGregaard To some degree, AI doesn’t act upon favouritism-based, e.g. origin or type of proposal or outputs. It is purely based on the previously learnt dataset and processed by the cold and cruel algorithms without feeling, although the dataset can be manipulated over time.

@FredGregaard Academically, it is legitimate, as he explicitly stated and referenced that he used GPT to read.

As an @IntersectMBO member, I am personally not currently comfortable with Intersect being an administrator for treasury funded projects that aren’t awarded through a competitive selection process. While it potentially prevents us from making best use of the funds (as we may miss out on a more preferred vendor because they weren’t aware of the opportunity to bid), I would also prefer to be part of an organisation that values fairness and opportunity, while working on continuous improvements to decentralised governance in a structured and professional way over time (how Cardano itself was built). While I accept that there is some core work that can realistically only be done by @InputOutputHK (especially this early in our transition to DGov) and therefore probably doesn’t need to go through this process, I think the narrative being pushed by @IOHK_Charles and others that Intersect doesn’t have the experience to run such a process is oversimplifying things. All new organisations don’t have experience, but that doesn’t mean they just don’t do things because of it. There are ways to deal with that inexperience, such as recruiting or outsourcing. This inexperience is also an assumption, but instead of entering into a dialogue about how it could work, it was just “decided” that it should be shut down. If we continue down this path of unequal member influence over decision making, and the neutering of committees, I will probably rethink renewing by enterprise membership 😢 If you are an Intersect member, I would be interested in hearing your opinion about this, so please share this post so others can comment 🙏

I and Cardano Vietnam have decided to withdraw from the organizing team of the Cardano Builder Fest Asia event. It was a difficult decision to make, but perhaps it’s the best way to allow the work to move forward according to the wishes of the other parties involved. I’ve spent nearly a year preparing for this event, hoping it would become not only a place to share knowledge and experience, but also a space filled with unforgettable memories for our Cardano community. However, the effort to make Cardano Builder Fest #2 better than Builder Fest #1 was not sincerely supported and corporated. Thank you to the community for always supporting me🙇🙇 I’ll take some time to rest and recover my energy, and continue contributing to Cardano in other ways. To my friends from around the world, I’m sorry I won’t be able to meet you this time🙇🙇 — but if fate allows, we’ll meet again somewhere on this earth.

I plan to vote NO to the GA of the 10% tax change. I will provide my rationale and disclosure of conflicts of interest and bias. I am accepting feedback. Rationale 1) My pledge as a DRep and the following, which have been listed in the metadata since I registered my DRep. "I vote to help Cardano grow into a platform that supports the economic identities of billions of people." Currently, there is a lot of fundamental research and development that needs to be done to help Cardano grow into a platform that supports the identities of billions of people. These include, but are not limited to, scalability, Babel Fee, partner chains, Hydra, Mithril, Amaru, governance tools, and research to reduce node memory requirements. While a 10% tax may be sufficient for these, such developments are not necessarily all predictable and may take a long time. These may become clearer as the Cardano Budget discussion progresses, but this discussion has just begun. Therefore, at this stage, I have decided that a No vote is appropriate to defend research and development to realize the vision of Cardano. Rationale 2) It is true that the issue of staking incentives should be emphasized. However, slightly increasing staking rewards is a temporary solution, and will eventually decline quickly if transaction volume does not increase. This will also lead to faster release of ADA into the market and faster ADA inflation. Rather, additional development support will pave the way for cost savings due to a significant reduction in memory requirements, accelerated development of alternative nodes, and the possibility of staking incentives not limited to ADA tokens through partner chains, etc. By seriously working on scalability development, more people will be able to use the chain, and Tx fee income will increase. Therefore, from the perspective of staking incentives, I believe that keeping the tax as it is could be advantageous in the medium to long term. Disclosure of conflict of interest/bias If voting YES: As an SPO, I have a conflict of interest here, as there is a possibility that my income will increase by supporting this proposal. If voting NO: As an MCC member of Intersect, I am watching the Intersect budget process. Although there is no financial benefit to me from the potential increase/decrease in the MCC Budget due to the impact of this GA, there may be some bias at work. In this regard, I was considering voting NO, and I provided as detailed reasons as possible to show that there is no financial benefit to voting NO and that I am not too caught up in bias. Therefore, I did not think it was necessary to abstain from this vote.
