@SethAbramson Seth, have you not seen the email evidence yourself from Hunter's data and witnessed the actual corruption? How are you still carrying on the narrative that it's all foreign-born conspiracy theory? Was Hunter Biden trafficking perhaps dozens of people not worth its own trial?

24/ ...are nothing more than a political plot to keep alive a foreign-born conspiracy theory about the Bidens that was unsuccessfully put in play by Trump and his foreign allies in 2020, and which they now want to keep in play, with the help of media, in a *second* U.S. election.

20/ There should be no coverage of the minute-by-minute in-court evidentiary presentations in the Hunter Biden case because the case itself is not newsworthy. But there should be wall-to-wall coverage of how the case came to trial, because *that* is a *massive* political scandal.

22/ I wrote the report atop this thread not to prove that I have a problem with the conduct of Donald Trump, as everyone already knows that my 8 years of working as a bestselling Trump biographer have convinced me that he is an existential threat to the United States of America.

@SethAbramson Perhaps you're right, but do consider the reality of America which is when people in power are corrupt and/or any direct relatives break the law, it is newsworthy *because* of the public's interest. Suggesting otherwise is to distort the reality of what people care about.

@SethAbramson Drug addiction stories of Hunter Biden were only an all out deflection and never should have been newsworthy. It should instead have been about Human Trafficking and maybe murder.

6/ Now Hunter Biden faces charges experts agree he wouldn't if he had a different name. The case involves statements on private drug use on a gun-ownership app. So what does media call it? A "gun trial." As a retired journalism professor I have to ask, "Are you f****** kidding?"

4/ But I wanted to go even beyond that. U.S. journalists must do much more in this moment than tear down false rhetoric seeking to equate two cases that have nothing to do with one another. Journalists also must look at one another and see how we may be part of the problem here.

Several emails obtained from the federal investigation's repository reveal that Hunter Biden arranged the meeting in Beijing in 2013 with Chinese-based partner Jonathan Li and his father right after the then-vice president finished meeting with Xi. The meeting was not impromptu, but rather set up in advance. “I arrive around 12- head to embassy then great hall for arrival ceremony. Staying at St. Regis- I will touch base when I land,” Hunter Biden wrote to Li on Dec. 4, 2013. “Hope I can see u this time!” Li replied. “Yes - we will make it work- lets plan on you guys coming over to St. Regis around 7:30 tonight. I don't know exactly when I'll be back but it should be around then- and I'd like to introduce you to my Dad. Li agreed to join Hunter Biden at his hotel and said he would bring two of his associates, the emails show.

According to an email Hunter Biden wrote in December 2013, he confirmed that he connected his Chinese associates with his father in a Beijing hotel after the vice president had met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. The email stated, "They got to meet Dad. All very good. Talk later."

Also, trafficking is illegal regardless of 'consent', because there is no such thing as consensual trafficking. When you can't quit or complain to HR and fear for your life if found to be 'disloyal', you aren't safe.
