@amandacperson @charliekirk11 Can you please tell me an example of political violence perpetrated by someone who is a conservative ? It’s an honest question.
English

When your logic and arguments are viewed as a weapon too powerful to overcome, leftists resort to physical violence to silence you.
Praying for @charliekirk11

@leemcummings Israel is always used to refer to the people of God. Because no one can get to the Father except through the Son, Israel is only those who are in Christ. VEEERY 101 Christian concept.

@jklamz1 @leemcummings @Joel7Richardson Ironic.
Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; everyone who confesses the Son has the Father also.
1 John 2:22-23

My friend @Joel7Richardson had an interesting encounter with a Pro Palestinian protestor. You can feel the demonic hatred spew out of him

Stopped to have a chat with a local racist protester. Took him no time to go full genocide.

@leemcummings The Church didn't replace Israel; rather, Israel has ALWAYS been those who are faithful to God. But now, no one can come to the Father except through the Son!
English

@leemcummings Because God sent his Son, those who follow Jesus are Israel. "Not all who are descended from Israel are Israel." "IF you belong to Christ, THEN you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise." Gal 3:15-29, Eph 2:11-21, Phil 3:3, 1 Pet 2:9-10, Rom 9:6-8, John 8:31-4
English

@leemcummings God didn't replace Israel. Israel has always been the people who are faithful to God. The only way to God is through Christ. Read your Bible.
English

@leemcummings You yourself don't understand the significance of Israel. "Not all who are descended from Israel are Israel." "IF you belong to Christ, THEN you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise." Gal 3:15-29, Eph 2:11-21, Phil 3:3, 1 Pet 2:9-10, Rom 9:6-8, John 8:31-47
English

Many believers don’t understand the significance of Israel. I wrote this book to help you understand why Israel should matter to you personally, and why it matters theologically. 🇮🇱
You can get my book “An Overview of Why Israel Matters” today at leecummings.com and Amazon.
English

@leemcummings The book comes across as written by someone who either is totally ignorant of the arguments against its position, or by someone who is intentionally not informing the reader of the almost 2,000 year history of theology that runs contrary to your claims. Feels very disingenuous.
English

@leemcummings I read your book. It comes across as Zionist propaganda. It leaves out rebuttal to any serious argument against your claims. It has flat-out disinformation about the land that has been proven wrong. It ignores dozens of NT verses that demolish your points.
English

@leemcummings This is rich coming from someone who ignores everything the NT has to say about the identity of Israel in favor of a 19th-century heresy.
English

@matt_allbritton The HS is a helper, not one who coerces. Xianity is viewed as a spiritual religion about going to heaven instead of hell. The Gospel is de-gospelled by ignoring that Jesus inaugurated a rival nation to the worlds nations. Outward allegiance is replaced by a private inward belief.
English

My best argument AGAINST Christianity would be the lack of transforming power of the Spirit. If people come to Christ and receive the Holy Spirit’s power, they should, at the very least, be pursuing Christlikeness.
But, when Christians are THE group most likely to defend the use of guns, least likely to defend the oppressed, and be the least-loving, that is damning on our witness, for very good reason.
I’m not looking for a rebuttal because I have them (as someone who believes in the power of the Spirit), but how can people who supposedly have accepted Christ as Lord, be the least likely to be like Him, if the Helper is within them?
Either the Christian doesn’t have the Holy Spirit (not actually a Christian), ignores the Spirit’s promptings (Spirit is not very strong to make a difference), or there is no such Spirit (Christianity is false).
Admittedly, this is an over-simplified and under-explained tweet that will have holes in its argument because you know, it’s a tweet! But, it’s still a problem that needs addressing IMO.
English

@GaryAlanTaylor1 @PrestonSprinkle Christians don't "sit idly by" they resist the systems of the devil by not participating, and instead they actively enact the Kingdom. By participating in the systems of the world we give them validity. Jesus calls us outside the system entirely and shows us a third way.
English

@PrestonSprinkle Exactly. The temptation for Christians is the same as Christ's 3rd in the wilderness: to work within the systems of satan (the state) to achieve the goals of the Kingdom. The true solution is that Babylon must fall—not by our violence but by the truth of Jesus.
