With Triolo hurt, I’d give Nick Yorke a little runway here to see what he can do. I’m still intrigued to see if the bat can wind up coming together at the MLB level. I’d rather see him play than Gonzales. We know what he is.

I’m not holding out a ton of hope, but there’s a chance he contributes at the MLB level. Also could be worth considering in trades.

@GMBCSuperfan I don’t have much of a megaphone, but I was screaming when this trade was made that they should have been looking to extend him as part of the trade. He may not have been interested, but I’m sure they didn’t try. Plus, there is the uncertainty of next yr to navigate.

@SteeloCity Stats 6 games in are meaningless. Mangum ain't gonna hit .231 w/ a sub .600 OPS. Cruz ain't gonna hit .278 w/ a .900+ OPS. Fans will cheer them for who they will be, not who they are today.
