Just finished the 5th Stormlight Archive book (Brandon Sanderson). Pretty incredible series. If you want to read a contemporary fantasy series this is the one to read. From a craft perspective: - A tight and rich first read with secrets and foreshadowing that makes me want to read it again immediately - A writing style that captures the perspective and thought processes of different characters - Thoughtful exploration of mental illness and trauma without crushing the reader - Best in class magic system and world building
