Last time I was in hospital, I binged Curb Your Enthusiasm. Then during my recovery I binged The Office (US). This time I’ve started on 30 Rock so that I can binge it during my recovery. I’m tearing through it too fast. What other modern American comedy series are there?

@Angronn1 I forgot one of the biggest issues. I often train university security teams, and one of their biggest issues now is parents phoning them because their son or daughter hasn’t been in touch for a day or two. It’s bonkers.

I find it exhausting that university applicants now tend to bring their parents with them to university open days (generally encouraged to do so by the universities). But, while I was delivering a recent training course to one university team, one of the participants explained that, six weeks into the current term, they have a student whose mother is accompanying them to every single lecture and seminar. We have lost the plot.
